Our Mission

Since 2010, the founders and team at PRR have been working to address the growing crisis in the nation’s health care delivery system in the form of a shortage of over 33,000 family practice physicians. This number grows continually as over 10,000 baby boomers turn 65 each day and thus acquire Medicare insurance.

An additional 30-32 million Americans will gain coverage in 2014 via the Affordable Care Act. Some experts predict that the deficit will double by 2025 because of these forces. Our solution to this problem is the concept of retraining retired specialists to fill regularly scheduled part or full time slots in outpatient clinics working in adult general practice medicine. Moreover, our system utilizes the internet for the retraining process to avoid exorbitant costs and travel. To complete the process, PRR will direct participants to some of the 7,000 federally funded community clinics nationwide, collegiate and industrial clinics, emerging chain store clinics, hospital group clinics, V.A. and military clinics, and others where job openings exist. With PRR functioning as an integrated system, patients will have more prompt access to health care and idle doctors will once again become engaged in helping those in need while helping themselves.
